The Man is a supporting character in Breaking Cat News and the loving owner of Lupin, Puck, and Elvis. He is a video game designer as seen in "There's a Button Under the Computer Desk That Makes The Man Scream", both in old and new Breaking Cat News. He works on Pokémon (his favorite Pokémon was Honchkrow) and once played video games as a fundraiser called "You Think You're Hungry", which confirmed that the "little man in the box" was the guy in the very popular game, Spelunky. Initially viewed with great suspicion by Elvis, he is now grudgingly accepted by him under some circumstances.
He is based on Georgia Dunn's former husband, Ryan, and is the father of The Boy and The Girl.
